Integrity is not given, it is a way of life. More so, it is how you live when no one is watching. Being a person of Integrity has never been about fooling others into believing your a good person. Instead, it is to live in moral uprightness. To first be honorable in the eyes of the Lord and then unto men. For God, is the moral compass who equips us with righteousness.
Have you checked your truth and faithfulness levels lately? Luke 16:10 says One who is faithful in very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much. Sometimes we minimize the little things and when no one is watching despise the small tasks and lower our performance. Yet, small beginnings are only routes to greater destinations. Faithfulness is not measured by the size of the task but by the status of the heart. If you cannot be a faithful employee at your first fast food job, do not expect to become the owner of the franchise. Likewise, if you can not be honest about small mistakes how then can you share big truths? If I can not believe your lies, then I can not believe your truths. How then can those around you trust the fruit you bear?
Do you want to be a woman of integrity? Philippians 4:8 encourages us to keep our integrity at a level of excellence. Ponder on whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. Truly words to live by. A woman who is truthful, pure, just and lovely will be honored by those around her. Success is birthed when we honor God first. Integrity will allow you to see the faithfulness of God wherever you go and His favor on whatever you touch.
Therefore, I encourage you to forgive easily, walk humbly, work honest, speak truth, give generously knowing that your father in heaven is always watching. When all eyes are not on you, HIS are and He will bless you accordingly. Love, Zuleika
