Dear Single Mom,
I remember as I was being pushed into the delivery room in a wheelchair, my nurse said to me, “You’re about to experience a different kind of love." I thought to myself, “What does that mean?" A couple of hours later, those words had more meaning to me than I could have ever imagined. From the moment I laid eyes on my baby girl, I was completely head over heels in love. That sounds kind of weird right? But, the feeling I had was indescribable. I remember looking into her big beautiful eyes in disarray that God blessed me with such a perfect little baby girl. As my heart pounded and butterflies arose, I held her tight in my arms and kissed her cheek so gently. I was soooooo in love with her. I whispered into her tiny ears, "I promise to love you forever and always." As the days passed by, in spite of all the sleepless nights, frustrating days, peace of my mind, and endless tears my feelings for my daughter never changed. My love is unconditional.
I am amazed that with all the mistakes we make, countless denials, and lack of time spent, God still loves us unconditionally. There is nothing we can do, that God will not forgive and He still loves us wholeheartedly. Even when our children make mistakes and say hurtful things, we still love them no matter what. Dear Single Mom, God loves you despite your past mistakes, our denial of Him, and even our current situations. He forgives you and wants to see you do good. He loved you so much that He sent His only son to die for your sins. Can you imagine sending your only child to die for people who would probably deny them? Probably not! God’s love for us is real. He loves us unconditionally, despite anything else. God’s love is amazing! Dear Single Mom, I pray that you realize how precious you are in His sight and that He loves you more than you can ever imagine. He is the true definition of LOVE.
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 NIV
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 NIV
Signed With Unconditional Love,
