Be encouraged

I remember praying and praying for God to take away the pain and hurt in my heart and He did heal me. I remember praying for financial freedom and there He was to deliver me. I remember praying for a new car and He opened doors.

I don't know what you are asking God for today, but I know that God is able. He is a provider. He cares about everything that you care about. He is with you when you are all alone crying because of life! He knows what bothers you, He knows what hurts you. The answer to the emptiness you feel inside is Jesus. Jesus will never fail you. He will never judge your mistakes or short-comings. He believes there is greatness inside of you. Once you grasp the fact that you can't be complete until God is totally in control, you will be forever changed. You can start walking with joy, walking with security, walking with peace, walking with faith, and walking in purpose. It wasn't until I completely allowed God to lead my life that my circumstances began to change. We have to trust what the word of God says. His word says, "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and ALL these things will be added unto you." Psalms 37:4 says, delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you your heart's desires. Remember if God said it, it will come to pass. Hold on to the promises of the Lord. Trust in His word and believe that He will work everything out for your good. I am a single mom and there are areas that I still struggle in, but I know what God has promised me and what He has shown me. We have to guard our hearts and check our emotions when doubt arouses. We have to remember to take captive every negative thought that tries to steal our peace. The enemy also knows your desires and your potential. He will try every scheme to stop you from walking into everything God has promised you.

Dear Single Mom, I pray that you allow God to fully take control of your life. Allow Him to fill you with his word. Allow Him to remove every stronghold that was weighing you down. Allow Him to teach you self control and how to love yourself and others. I pray that you really begin to meditate on His word day and night. Get to know your father and His heart and watch it change you. I want to end with a prayer. Please repeat out loud.

Dear Lord, I just thank you for loving me for me. Thank you for never leaving me, nor forsaking me. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. God, I pray that you forgive me for all the wrong that I have done. God, I pray that you set me on fire for You, I want to go deeper in You. I trust You, Lord I know that you are working everything out for my good. Help me to keep my eyes fixed on You even when things are bad. Give me strength and peace every day. I thank You in advance for all you're doing in my life, in Jesus' name, Amen!
